About Process Serving in Idaho
Idaho does not require a license to serve process. Under IRCP 4(c)(2), any person over 18 years old who is not a party to the action may serve. Idaho gives one of the longer initial service windows — 182 days from the complaint filing — before dismissal may be ordered.
