Legislative Involvement
GAPPS advocated for Georgia's 2010 certification law (Senate Bill 491). In 2013, GAPPS filed suit against sheriffs over bans on private process servers (the case was ultimately lost at the GA Supreme Court in 2017). GAPPS is an approved pre-certification training provider recognized by the GA Judicial Council as of 2026.
