Legislative Involvement
FAPPS has been monitoring and influencing Florida legislation since the early 1980s. The association has worked with lobbyists and legislators on bills addressing gated community access, sheriff fees, private mailbox and virtual office service, LLC service (SB1062, 2022), and exemptions. FAPPS's proactive legislative committee actively supports beneficial laws and fights harmful ones.
Notable Information
FAPPS is a chartered state chapter of NAPPS. The association is the exclusive authorized training provider for several Florida judicial circuits and sheriffs' offices. With 35 annual conventions by 2026, FAPPS has been a leading presence in Florida's legal community since the early 1980s.
